Purpose
The Atlanta Christian Social Network was formed by Pamela Howell, an Atlanta-based
journalist, for the purpose of creating Christian networking gatherings at various
special-event venues, as well as other leisure activities.
Overview:
Secular gathering places such as night clubs, bars, comedy clubs, arcades, happy hours,
etc. are a mainstay of entertainment. However, thousands of Christians neither enjoy nor
patronize such establishments because they feel that these establishments don't cater to
Christian interests and values. Therefore, outside of church functions, these Christians
have little opportunity to gather solely for socializing and entertainment. Additionally,
social activities at each church are almost exclusively limited to their own members and
provide little inter-congregational interaction. ACSN will provide a recurring,
centralized, social venue for Christians from various congregations.
Vision:
To provide an elegant social environment where Christians from diverse backgrounds can
gather for networking, information, and entertainment on a recurring basis. To develop a
standing reputation as the facilitator of Christians social activities. To become a
highly-regarded social entity for Christians.
